Filling a pool with a hosepipe can take several days and push up your water bill. With a water tanker we unload thousands of litres in a short time, and the pool is ready to be treated and enjoyed.

Each tanker carries 12,000 litres. We work out with you how many trips are needed and arrange them back to back, within one working day, so the pool fills continuously.

A good share of our customers are homeowners' associations and hotels. We know a community or hotel pool cannot stay closed any longer than necessary, so we plan the trips to fill it in the shortest possible time and coordinate with the property administrator, the concierge or the maintenance manager. How Many Tankers Do I Need?

Multiply length × width × average depth in metres to get cubic metres. Each cubic metre is 1,000 litres. Divide by 12,000 and round up.

• Pool of 6 × 3 m and 1.4 m average depth: 25,200 litres, 3 tankers.
• Pool of 8 × 4 m and 1.5 m average depth: 48,000 litres, 4 tankers.
• Pool of 10 × 5 m and 1.6 m average depth: 80,000 litres, 7 tankers.

Tips Before Filling

Before the truck arrives, check that the pool shell is clean and that the skimmers and return jets are correctly fitted. After filling, adjust the pH and chlorine following the advice of your pool shop. You will find more details in our guide to the first fill of a pool.
